Privacy choices
Delete your StarVPN account
You can permanently delete your account from the account portal. This page explains what happens to your data and subscription.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to your account
Use the email address or Telegram profile linked to StarVPN.
- Open Account
At the bottom of the page, choose Delete account.
- Confirm deletion
Access ends immediately. You cannot undo deletion after confirming.
Data we delete
- email, Telegram identity, and all active sign-in sessions
- devices, VPN credentials, and generated connection settings
- submitted diagnostics and device-level technical history
- support requests, messages, and attachments
Data that may be retained longer
Some records cannot be erased at the same time as the account:
- payment, order, refund, and accounting records
- minimal records needed to prevent repeated trial abuse
- records required by law or a payment platform's rules
These records cannot be used to sign in to the deleted account and are kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose.
Google Play subscription
Before deletion, StarVPN attempts to stop the next renewal of any linked Google Play subscription. If Google Play is temporarily unavailable, deletion does not complete, protecting you from future charges after losing access. A completed payment is not refunded automatically.
